I inherited three things from my dad: great hair, a passion for Disney and an obsession for travel. I have been traveling since 1987 and lived near London for three years. I have been to 56 countries on 6 continents. I specialize in Europe, cruises, Australia/New Zealand, and Disney, including Disney with Special Needs. I have delivered mail with the postman in Outback Australia (5 homesteads in 12 hours on dirt tracks) and hiked to the top of a fjord in Norway. I like sorting through the nitty-gritty details that bog down adventurous souls. Give me a call when you are planning your next adventure and let me guide you to the best experiences in the world.
Thanks Lori! We had a fabulous trip!! The weather was in our favor, the lines were in our favor, and all around it was great!! Loved the hotel and all your advice was perfect. We are totally exhausted but it was awesome.
It was amazing Lori. The weather was perfect, London was not as cold as we thought. Paris was warm and everything we wanted to do we did. Without you doing all the leg work this trip was not possible. Thank you for everything, I appreciate everything you did for me and mom.
Disney and AmaWaterways Add More Family River Cruises
Disney and AmaWaterways have added two more sailing dates to their new family-focused river cruises, just one month after announcing they had teamed up to offer five kid-friendly Danube cruises in 2016: July 7, 2016, July 14, 2016, July 21, 2016, July 28, 2016 and December 22, 2016 (Christmas markets cruise)
The additions include another summer cruise departing August 4, 2016, immediately following the four previously announced family river cruises in July. It shares the same seven-night itinerary to Germany, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. The second is a holiday-themed sailing on December 15, 2016, which will give families the opportunity to shop at the Danube's Christmas markets, attend a private performance and cocktail reception at Vienna's Spanish Riding School, and visit Austria's famous Schlosshof. A previously announced holiday cruise departs the following week and includes a Christmas concert by the Vienna Boys Choir.
The sailings are offered as a joint venture by river cruise line AmaWaterways and Adventures by Disney, the guided group travel arm of Disney. All sailings take place on new 170-passenger AmaViola, which is being designed for family travel, with more connecting cabins and rooms that can accommodate three and four passengers.
While some river cruise lines offer special family-friendly sailings, river cruising has typically been the domain of retirees, rather than schoolkids. Disney and AmaWaterways' partnership represents a new way of thinking about these destination-immersive river trips and offers new vacation options for families who love to travel -- and cruise -- together.
